After a longer than short hiatus, I present my review of Spread That, a butter knife that heats up using the heat from the user’s hand. This is the final video at my old apartment, and now that I have finished my PhD and I’m all settled in at the new place, I’ll be able to post more regularly!

Testing a Gadget: EggXact Peel
In this video, I test out the EggXact Peel for its intended use opening eggs, and then I fail in kiwi class.
Testing Two Egg Openers
Is there a better way to open an egg? Watch as I crack up while testing two egg openers.
Testing Banana Slicers
The title of the video pretty much tells you everything you need to know. I’m going to test two different banana slicers, one where I just push a banana shapped cutter down over the banana and another where I have to insert the banana in the cutter. Which cutter will be victorious? Will I end up injured again? Will I ever buy anything useful from Wish? How many times will Scout walk in front of the camera? Watch to find out the answers to these and many more questions!

Testing a Gadget: OXO Ratcheting Pineapple Slicer
In this video, I test OXO’s Ratcheting Pineapple Slicer to slice and core a delicious smelling pineapple.
Testing a Lifehack: Mason Jar Noodle Soup
Can I make ramen in a mason jar? If it works, it could be a great make-ahead meal. If it doesn’t, it will be a horrible gloopy mess of flour, curry paste, and vegetables. Let’s see what happens!
Testing a Gadget: The My Pint Ice Cream Maker from Dash
You scream! I scream! Ok, now let’s use our inside voices or we’re not going to get any ice cream!
In this video, I test out a pint sized ice cream maker from Dash.
Here’s the recipe I tried:
Coffee Sorbet
3 Tablespoons honey
2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
1/4 Teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup coffee (or 1/2 cup of water and 1 heaping tablespoon of instant coffee)
1/2 Teaspoon coffee liqueur (I used Kahlua)
